Trump, Hillary Win Big Tuesday in Northeast

As expected, both Democratic and Republican front-runners claimed big victories Tuesday night after voting ended in Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Maryland, and Delaware. Clinton ceded only Rhode Island to opponent Bernie Sanders, whereas Trump won all five of the states. After Tuesday, Donald Trump now has 950 of the needed 1,237 needed delegates to win the nomination outright. The results of Tuesday’s elections bring Clinton 1,596 of the 2,383 needed to clench the Democratic nomination.
