EgyptAir flight 804 disappeared from radar Wednesday night on its was from Paris to Cairo. It is believed that the plane was purposely crashed into the Mediterranean Sea shortly after entering Egyptian airspace; before disappearing from radar, the plane turned quickly 90 degrees, then 360 degrees, before directing itself for a straight 10,000 feet plunge. About two hours after the plane disappeared, a distress signal was detected in the same vicinity. As of Thursday morning, no confirmed debris from the plane has been found. 66 people were on board.
