No Charges for Clinton over Emails

FBI Director James Comey announced today that the bureau would not be recommending any charges for the Department of Justice to bring against Hillary Clinton.

In its investigation, the FBI found evidence that over 100 classified emails were sent or received from Clinton’s private server, which jeopardized the integrity of these emails and their contents. An alternative review showed over 2,000 emails went through the server, all of which contained information now considered classified.

Comey criticized Clinton’s carelessness in regards to her emails and personal server during her term as secretary of state, but noted that there was no criminal liability that would justify charges.
