Around 10:00 p.m. Saturday night in London, witnesses saw a van plowing down pedestrians on London Bridge. Three men then jumped out of the van at nearby Borough Market and began stabbing passers-by. Police responded and had killed the attackers, who were wearing fake bomb vests, within eight minutes.
As of Sunday morning, seven victims had perished and almost 50 were injured.
The attack comes shortly after a bombing at an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester. In March, a man drove a van over Manchester Bridge. Prime Minister Teresa May has vowed to take a tougher stance on extremists.
